Charles R. Terry
(1933-2009)
Charles R. Terry was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on May 7, 1933.
A founding member of Terry, Terry & Stapleton, he led the
firm until his passing in 2009. He was admitted to the Bar in 1957; to the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in 1957; and to the Tennessee Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, in 1957.

Denise Terry Stapleton has been actively involved in the trials of high profile criminal and civil cases in East Tennessee for two decades. She was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1987 and is licensed to practice law in all state and federal Courts in Tennessee. She was admitted to practice before the United States of America in December 2003. Denise obtained her B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1982, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law in 1986.
